We are seeking a skilled and talented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
· Design and implement automated PLC solutions.
· Commission and program robot arms.
· Contribute to team meetings, design reviews, and provide controls input to system architecture design.
· Troubleshoot issues with hardware and industrial process equipment.
· Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
· Test, document, and maintain robotic safety systems.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics or equivalent).
· 2 years of experience in a related field.
· Technical proficiency in a software application for PLC programming.
· Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to travel to customer sites and commission systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with Allen Bradley Compact Logix or similar.
· Experience working with Fanuc arms or similar.
· Familiarity with industrial safety standards (ANSI, NFPA).
· Experience integrating sensors, drives, actuators, and other automation hardware.
· Comfortable troubleshooting issues under pressure on manufacturing floors.
· Familiarity with industrial control panels and electrical drawings.
